How to contact the right part of The Sno Guys
This website is the educational publication of The Sno Guys. For residential snow-clearing enquiries, quotes, availability or payment questions, visit the official service website: thesnoguys.ca. The service website—not an article comment—is the appropriate place to start a customer request.
Editorial questions, corrections, accessibility and privacy: email thesnowguys.services@gmail.com. Please include the affected page URL and a short explanation. We do not promise a fixed reply or resolution time.
What helps us understand a request
To suggest a correction, report a broken link, share a relevant official source or ask about an article, please provide only information needed to understand the request:
- The article or page URL.
- A brief explanation of the issue or the information you were looking for.
- A link to a reliable supporting source when proposing a factual correction.
- Your preferred reply method if you want a response.
Do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification, private medical details or customer service records in editorial messages. Service bookings, customer photos and property details should go through the verified customer intake process instead of publication comments.
Our accessibility design goals
The knowledge network aims to make ordinary homeowner winter information usable on small screens and with assistive technology. The site design aims to support semantic headings, readable text, focusable links, meaningful descriptions, and responsive layouts. These are design goals—not a claim of completed WCAG compliance or a certified accessibility audit.
- Pages use a logical heading hierarchy; the site theme supplies each page’s H1.
- Article and reference links should describe their destination without requiring readers to understand an icon alone.
- Images that convey information should include alt text; decorative images should not be announced unnecessarily.
- Important guidance should remain available in text rather than only in a photograph or diagram.
- Pages should reflow on mobile without forcing horizontal scrolling of ordinary content.
- Interactive menus and forms require separate keyboard, touch and screen-reader testing before a compliance claim can be made.
Accessibility work is iterative. Any issue reported should be evaluated, prioritized and tracked until an appropriate fix or alternative is available.
How to report an accessibility barrier
Examples include a menu that cannot be opened with a keyboard, text hidden on a narrow phone screen, unclear link wording, a missing image description or a file that cannot be read with assistive technology.
- Record the page URL and the part of the page causing difficulty.
- If comfortable, share your device, browser or assistive technology; these details are optional.
- Describe what you were trying to accomplish and what happened instead.
- Email the report to thesnowguys.services@gmail.com.
We review reported barriers and consider appropriate fixes or alternatives. We do not promise a fixed remediation deadline.
Accessible ways to navigate the library
The Snow Knowledge Directory lists major topics, while the Winter Resource Library groups printable checklists and references. The Article Index is designed to organize future editorial content after publication. Printable seasonal tasks are available in Seasonal Checklists.
If a downloadable resource is later introduced, a readable HTML equivalent should be considered wherever feasible. The publication should not require a newsletter signup to read basic homeowner guidance.
Weather alerts, emergencies and time-sensitive service requests
This publication does not provide emergency dispatch or real-time weather monitoring. Check official Canadian weather alerts for current conditions. In emergencies, use the appropriate emergency service. For a residential snow-clearing request, check the current service process and approved coverage directly on thesnoguys.ca; the information here does not promise eligibility or service timing.
